You have a few facts mis-understood. The RCMP itself would not be charging people on its own accord. I know you and many others are frustrated about the situation in Canada. My personal comment is make it legal to subscribe in Canada and we all would be happy including dealers, tax collectors which would create more jobs and taxes in Canada. Here are the facts. The RCMP are not the bad boys. Industry Canada is being funded by the Bell Expressview (they have deep pockets), Star Choice, cable companies and other Canadian organizations such as the film industry. These monies are being used by Industry Canada to fund the RCMP in their activities to charge people under the Criminal Code section 327. The RCMP do not have the money themselves do these kind of activities. Canadian TV Company providers are running scared they will go bankrupt if American TV will not be stopped. The problem is so big it cannot be stopped any longer and I think it could have never been stopped anyway. The small dish is regulated by the CRTC, the big dish is not regulated by the CRTC. Anyone with a big dish is free so far to purchase any foreign programming without fear of being charged under any Canadian law. So what is the difference between the big and small dish, the big dish can get all the satellite feeds.......I think it is the size of the penis brains in Ottawa?
